Pickles again? I just can't get them like I want!
trying another simple one, one large cucumber, 1 large ball jar:

1 1/4 cup water
1 1/4 cup white distilled vinegar
1/4 cup natural cane sugar
5 good sprigs of dill
1 tbsp pepper balls
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp coriander

Cook everything but the cucumbers in a pot to boil, while cutting discs and spears of cucumber. Place cucumber in jar, pour hot liquid in, close lid tight, turn upside down for an hour or two to cool, then place in fridge, ready to eat in 24 hours.
